Audit Associate (US Standards)

About the Role

Vance & Cole provides dedicated institutional talent to US Mid-Market CPA firms. We are expanding our secure operations center and are seeking precise, detail-oriented audit professionals to support our US CPA partners in complex audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform substantive audit testing and prepare audit workpapers in accordance with US GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Assist in the review and testing of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare lead schedules.
• Collaborate directly with US-based Audit Managers and Partners to ensure rapid turnaround times on technical queries.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in external audit (Big 4 or Mid-Tier public accounting experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with US GAAP and US GAAS audit methodologies.
• Active CPA license (Philippines) strongly preferred.
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site from our biometrically secured clean-room facility in Cebu or Manila during US shifts.
