About the Role
Vance & Cole is redefining how US CPA firms access elite accounting talent from the Philippines. As VP of Talent Acquisition, you are the engine behind our growth. You will own the entire candidate pipeline: sourcing through LinkedIn, email outreach, and social media community groups, interviewing candidates, and recording professional introduction videos from our Cebu IT Park office. Candidates go through a rigorous screening and testing process before they reach final selection, so your focus is on finding the right people, not filtering through noise. This is not a desk job. We need someone who is assertive, not afraid to approach people, and has real experience networking in the Philippine professional community. You understand how to find top accounting talent in Cebu, Manila, and Davao, and you know what it takes to convince them to join a high-growth company. Experience in the US market is a strong plus. If you have a background in the CPA or accounting industry, you would be a perfect fit, but deep recruiting experience is the non-negotiable requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Source accounting professionals through LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, social media community groups, job fairs, and university partnerships across Cebu, Manila, and Davao.
- Interview candidates in person at our Cebu IT Park office and assess their communication skills, professionalism, and cultural fit.
- Record professional introduction videos of shortlisted candidates for presentation to US client firms.
- Build and manage a recruiting team of 3-5 Talent Partners as volume scales, establishing KPIs for time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate retention.
- Own employer branding: position Vance & Cole as the most attractive employer for accounting professionals in Cebu through social media presence, referral programs, and community engagement.
- Provide weekly hiring velocity reports to leadership and continuously improve sourcing channel conversion rates.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience with demonstrated success in high-volume hiring, preferably in BPO, staffing, or professional services.
- Assertive personality with a hands-on mentality. You are comfortable approaching people directly, whether at networking events, campus job fairs, or industry meetups.
- Deep experience networking in the Philippine professional community, particularly in Cebu's accounting and finance talent market.
- Experience with the US market or US client-facing roles is a strong advantage.
- Background in the CPA or accounting industry is ideal but not required. Deep recruiting expertise is the must-have.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet, Indeed, and ATS platforms (Lever, Greenhouse, or Workable).
- Excellent English communication skills. Bilingual Cebuano or Tagalog is a significant advantage.
- Based at our Cebu IT Park office during regular PH daytime hours.
